Welcome...

One of the first questions you may have is "What is KromoZone?" Well... KromoZone is a quasi-nebulous entity directed at exploring new paradigms of interactive performance with computers and others. The reason it is described as "quasi-nebulous" is that KromoZone can take several forms of embodiment at any given time.

One embodiment of KromoZone is our performances and the people that we perform with. The two of us, Stephan Moore and Tim Place, have performed as KromoZone in Europe, Asia, and various locations in the U.S. We have performed with a variety folks including Paul Rudy, Skot Smallwood, Rich Jaime, Seongah Shin, and others.

An additional embodiment of the KromoZone superclass is the software we've created to make the performances happen. Essentially the concept, the performance, the performers and the software is all tied together into one pangea of components. The software serves in some way as a written expression of what we are up to creatively. Most of our collaborative software focuses on networking, and how our computer-based instruments can work together (or against each other) in meaningful ways...

To find out more about each of us, or to contact us, follow the links below to our personal sites. Feel free to tool around this site to find out more about us, download software, or just generally edify yourself with (hopefully) tasty morsels of information. We are always keen to interesting gigs, so if you've got one let us know!
