Electrotap Welcomes the Hemisphere

2006 February 1 - Kansas City - Electrotap today announced that it will be distributing the Hemisphere loudspeaker, effective immediately. The Hemisphere is a unique, versatile new loudspeaker that will changes the way amplified sound is distributed in live performances, sound installations, and non-traditional sonic/art scenarios.

The price reductions offer discounts of 10-30% off the regular retail price. This includes the highly-acclaimed Teabox sensor interface which is now available for US $395.

2005 April 21 - Kansas City - Electrotap has released a major upgrade to its series of objects and extensions for Cycling '74's Max/MSP/Jitter environment. Upgrades and student pricing are available.

2004 June 1 - Kansas City - Electrotap L.L.C. has been officially founded for the purpose of developing and distributing innovative software and hardware for the digital arts. Products previously registered to Silicon Prairie Intermedia are now the property of Electrotap who will continue the development and support of the products.

Jade 1.1 Released

The update includes support for both Mac OS9 and Mac OSX, XML reading and writing, plugin-building utilities, and stability enhancements. Tap.Tools 1.3 also supports building third-party modules for Jade 1.1.
